Corinne co-wrote YOUR LOVE IS MINE with The New Mastersounds in 2003 and it's a track she's especially proud of with its roots from the days of her humble beginnings on the Leeds music scene, from a time when the original limited 7" single release was an underground hit and made 'single of the week' on BBC Radio Leeds and her star was rising.
Corinne Bailey Rae's silky-yet fragile voice is sublime on the beautiful and evocative Your Love Is Mine, one of the breeziest grooves of last summer courtesy of Leeds finest purveyors of funk, The New Mastersounds. Corinne wrote the song with The New Mastersounds for inclusion on their 2003 album Be Yourself and the original limited 7" release was an underground hit. This time round it received massive airplay support across the UK spending 6 weeks on BBC Radio 2's playlist.
