IMPRESSIONS :
The Incredible Pat Martino

One of the most original six-string voices to emerge in the 1960's, Pat Martino (8/25/44) reshaped modern jazz guitar by building on Wes Montgomery's swinging legacy while adopting an innovative linear approach to the instrument. A product of the blues-soaked Philly organ circuit, his playing on these classic mid '70's sessions showcases the greatest guitarist in peak form.
