A pioneer of the electrified '60's fusion movement, guitarist Larry Coryell (4/2/43) returned to his Wes Montgomery - inspired roots during the mid-80's for a series of bop-oriented dates that teamed him with some stellar straight ahead players on the jazz scene. These sessions represent some of the great guitarist's most swinging and satisfying moments in that straight ahead bag.
