When using the search option use the following guidelines:

1. Category - Artist:
   If searching for an artist you can enter all or part of the last name as the search string. To search for all titles by Charlie Parker, enter, for example, "parker" or "park" to retrieve all listing by Parker and any other artists with the last name Parker. First name searches are not supported by this search engine at the present time.

2. Category - Album Title:
   If you are searching for a specific album title enter all or part of the CD's title name. For example, if you are looking for Erroll Garner's "Serenade to Laura," you could enter "serenade to laura", or just "serenade", or "laura". The results would, however, show any titles that contain the string. So "serenade" would retrieve the Garner title plus any others with the word serenade in it.

3. Category - Song Title:
   If you want to search to see if the catalog contains any titles with the song "Summertime" you would first choose the Song Title Category, then enter "summertime" as the search string. The results will show any titles containing a song with word "summertime" in the title.

4. Category - Catalog #:
   Catalog numbers can be retrieve by entering the number portion of the string. For example if you are looking for a title with the catalog number SV-123, you would enter "123" as the search string. Do not include the prefix "SV-".
